Chinese Precious Stone Bonsai & Potted Landscapes

Precious stone bonsais were wildly used in Qing Dynasty palace furnishings to bring grand palace splendid living environment. In the north of China, there are four distinctive seasons. During cold winter season, Precious stone bonsai looks like never withered plant and fruit bonsai and keeps a fresh and   dazzling appearance. It also has auspicious connotation and become an integral part of Chinese court culture. Most of precious stone bonsais collection of National Palace Museum were made by the special royal manufacture department. They also came from the tribute of officers or the local government.
